All programs in the department are aimed to develop a strong research focus in the students. Faculty in our department are very engaged in very current research and actively publishing across cutting edge topics in Psychology using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

The department has several laboratories engaged in behaviour-based research, neurocognitive research, and applied cutting edge methodologies to improve outcomes in clinical and non-clinical conditions.  These laboratories house cutting edge technology like Psychophysiological monitoring and biofeedback system.

Faculty in the department are engaged in ongoing field-based projects that provide learning through engagement for students. Both undergraduate and post graduate students involve in research as required by the curriculum. In addition, interested students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular research with faculty-led and collaborative projects gaining valuable hands on experience.
